Dear Friends,
This coming Tuesday at Cafe International we will be celebrating Englands national day, St George's Day. Find out who St George was and how important St George's day is to English people. We will be having a traditional English meal of:
Cottage Pie and vegetables (with Vege alternative)
followed by
Eve's Pudding (apple sponge cake).
There will be a short talk on St George's day which might contain some content relevant to Christianity.
Pool, table football, table tennis, Uno cards and Wii should be available before and after the quiz.
As usual, the event is free of charge but we would ask that you email us to say that you are coming so that we have an idea of how many cater for.
Thanks,
Café International Team

Australian Culture Evening (Tuesday 8th 19:30-22:30)

(flag from here)
Dear Friends,
We hope you have had an enjoyable Easter break and feel refreshed and ready for the term ahead!
This coming Tuesday at Cafe International we will be celebrating the culture of Australia. An Australian family from Widcombe church will be helping us to explore aspects of the Australian culture and we will be having a typical Australian meal.
I will send details of the content of the meal when they have been finalised. As usual, there will be a short talk between courses with possible Christian content.
Pool, table football, table tennis, Uno cards and Wii will be available as usual.
The event is free of charge but it would be great to tell us that you are coming so that we have an idea of how many to cater for.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Café International team
